Our Story

For most of my life, I used to wake up groggy never feeling fully rested.

Even after 9-10 hours of sleep!

I snored alot and often woke up with a sore throat.

Searching for a solution, I tried humidifiers, nose strips, tongue devices, you name it. But none of them worked.

I finally decided to get an official sleep test in 2017.

The diagnosis? Mild Sleep Apnea.

I was basically waking up constantly throughout the night from not breathing well.

No wonder I was exhausted!

Night of my sleep test (May 2017)

The doctor suggested I use a CPAP machine, but I didn't want to.

It was expensive, difficult to use, and honestly too impractical.

I didn't want to be dependent on a machine for the rest of my life.

And most of all, I felt like it wasn't addressing the root cause of my problem.

So I kept searching.

That’s when I discovered the research of Buteyko and Patrick McKeown.

Their research suggested that the real problem was breathing with my mouth.

Then a light bulb when off. I remembered all the times my mother used to tell me to close my mouth when growing up.

With this knowledge, I stumbled upon a new potential solution: Mouthtaping.

It was a simple idea but a scary one.

I had to tape my mouth shut before bed so that I'd be forced to breathe my nose while sleeping.

What if I died in my sleep and didn’t wake up?

Eventually I became desperate enough to try.

And I am glad as heck that I did.

The results were immediate and LIFE CHANGING.

I started waking up feeling more refreshed than ever before.

My snoring reduced dramatically and I didn't wake up with a sore throat anymore.

First night I tried mouthtaping (February 2020)

The more I did it, the more it changed my life.

My shoulder and neck tension started to ease.

I found it easier to breathe through my nose during the day.

It was actually TRANSFORMING my body for the better.

Four years later, I still tape my mouth religiously before bed every night.

I have completely switched to my breathing to nose breathing as default.

I am now also less reliant on the tape and still mostly breathe through my nose the odd time I forget.

Now I'm on a mission to spread this to others who can benefit from it.

Those experiencing similar struggles of exhaustion and discomfort as I once did.

And perhaps that is you.

We're excited for you to embark on this journey towards better health and vitality.

Join us. Let's breathe better, sleep better, and live better together.
